Che cos'è la luce?

Un elemento intangibile e percepibile all'occhio in modo diverso da ogni osservatore.

Come rendere palpabile l'intangibile....?

In occasione della performance "Live Light Painting" del Festival della Scienza di Genova 2016 e dell'evento coordinato dall'Accademia di Belle Arti di Genova, ecco che i frattali di luce creati durante questo evento di light painting, prendono forma. Grazie all'intuizione e all'ingegneria tessile, la luce prende vita e forma in delicate e tecniche maglie ‘Jersy” "fuori acqua".

La luce, diventa palpabile, vestendo le forme eleganti e sinuose delle donne.

In collaborazione con i mestri tessili italiani delle , seterie di Como, in grado di stampare con le più moderne tecniche, sono state create le prime stampe su tessuto.

Il mio studio e la mia ricerca di nuove soluzioni grafiche di light painting e di design per l'abbigliamento sono in continua evoluzione.

	Le fibre ottiche sono filamenti di materiali vetrosi o polimerici, realizzati in modo da poter condurre al loro interno la luce (propagazione guidata). 
Trovano importanti applicazioni in telecomunicazioni, diagnostica medica, e illuminotecnica.
Disponibili sotto forma di cavi, sono flessibili, hanno solitamente un diametro di rivestimento (cladding) di 125 micrometri (circa le dimensioni di un capello).
Oggi, più comunemente conosciute, sono ciò che permette la comunicazione via Internet in modo veloce...
L’utilizzo alternativo di questo strepitoso e tecnologico materiale fa nascere così questo progetto in continua evoluzione - sperimentando una nuova luce.

	Nelle leggi dell'universo c'è scritto che nulla viaggia più veloce della luce.Albert Einstein poi formulò, nel 
1905, un’equazione dalla quale si deduce che la FREQUENZA della 
radiazione e la sua ENERGIA viaggiano di pari passo, infatti l’energia è
 direttamente proporzionale alla frequenza della radiazione. 
I colori hanno MOVIMENTO e TEMPERATURA che ne costituiscono le proprietà fondamentali.

 
Si suddividono in caldi, freddi e 
neutri in base alle diverse sensazioni che trasmettono, alle immagini
 ed alle situazioni che richiamano alla mente; al centro dei colori caldi
 abbiamo il giallo arancio e al centro dei colori freddi abbiamo il blu.&#38;nbsp;Ciascun
 colore opera in modo selettivo, svolge 
una sua funzione a livello individuale e collettivo ed ha una propria 
intelligenza e polarità; conoscerne le caratteristiche ci aiuta a creare un ponte che collega il mondo fisico a quello simbolico. &#38;nbsp; &#38;nbsp;&#38;nbsp;Ecco l’effetto della loro percezione in questa serie di scatti; quando si è in viaggio in un treno, spettatori di un paesaggio in movimento o si cammina per strada e tutto il mondo si muove intorno a noi .

	In elettronica il LED (sigla inglese di Light Emitting Diode) o diodo a emissione di luce è un dispositivo optoelettronico che sfrutta la capacità di alcuni materiali semiconduttori di produrre fotoni attraverso un fenomeno di emissione spontanea.
Questa si origina dalla ricombinazione di coppie elettrone-lacuna secondo il principio del diodo a giunzione, caratterizzato dalla presenza nel dispositivo di due zone drogate differentemente in modo da avere portatori di carica diversi.
Oggi è entrato sempre di più nella nostra vita, sostituendo le lampadine tradizionali, per ottimizzare e ridurre i consumi.
Si possono trovare in tutte le forme, colori, dimensioni e potenze.
Oggi, grazie alla sua facilità di utilizzo e ridotto ingombro oltre che di consumo, il led è il più comune e utilizzato “pennello” luminoso di noi Lightpainter.

Luce - Elemento impalpabile che permette l’esistenza del nostro senso della vista e di vedere il mondo che ci circonda. 
La luce è componente emotiva che, come onda elettromagnetica, interagisce con la materia. Ci manifesta, con la nostra figura, agli altri.Fondamentale ingrediente che altrimenti ci renderebbe dannati nelle tenebre.
Luce che ci stupisce, Luce calda, Luce che impaurisce, Luce che tranquillizza, Luce puntuale, Luce diffusa...
Luce come elemento da plasmare in prototipi luminosi realizzati artigianalmente cercando l’equilibrio fra illuminazione d’ambiente e design.


KEMUSHI
2018Ispirato dalla natura, Kemushi è un omaggio al più buffo degli insetti che mi ha sempre colpito oltre che per le sue forme bizzarre anche per&#38;nbsp;strategie di difesa contro i predatori adottando colorazioni aposematiche.
Tessile - Alluminio Cromato - Polietilene Corrugato
Tre modi differenti di illuminare l’ambiente in maniera calda e accogliente dove curve simuose e geometrie dolci donano una luce diffusa adatta a scaldare l’amiente per godersi la pace e tranquillità
dopo un’interminabile  aggrovigliata giornata di impegni.Tutte le versoni sono personalizzabili nelle dimensioni, materiale, calore intensità luminosa, forma, corpo illuminante, colore e lunghezza cavo tessile elettrico.
La versione realizzata in materiale metallico di alluminio cromato, ha la particolarità di integrare la funzionalità di accensione/spegnimento e anche dimmeraggio dell’intensità luminosa, tramite lo sfioramento e il contatto della lampada con la mano in modalità Touch.
Mentre la verione in polietilene corrugato, è disponibile sia in monocolore bianco caldo o freddo oppure in modalità RGB dotata di accensione e gestione cromatica tramite telecomando - ottima per creare avvolgenti atmosfere utili a rilassanti momenti di cromoterapia.

2019
	Prototipo ispirato alle Nuvole, leggero corpo sospeso che gioca con la tridimensionalità dello spazio e dei volumi.
Realizzato in rete metallica, accoglie un’illumiazione diretta o indiretta a uno o più corpi illuminanti.Personalizzabile nelle dimensioni, colore/calore intensità luminosa, punto luce, colore e lunghezza cavo tessile elettrico, è un elemento di arredo per ambienti che vanno dall’Outdoor come verande, giardini d’inverno, pergole all’Indoor come sale da pranzo, cucine, soggiorni, workplace.

	2020 Anno di isolamento! 
Nessuno può dimenticare l'isolamento forzato che ci ha costretti a casa. 
La fortuna di vivere in riva al mare, sulla scogliera, mi ha dato la possibilità di evadere con la mente e di godere della vista del mare, del suo rumore e del suo odore.
Il mare è ricco, ed è un gran lavoratore. 
Non si ferma mai. Trasforma, leviga e lavora incessantemente tutto ciò che tocca. 
Un ramo caduto in mare e levigato dalle onde, sbiancato dalla salsedine e dal sole, tornato tra le rocce, chissà dopo quanto tempo, attira la mia attenzione.
Modellato alla perfezione, assomiglia a un corallo. 
Affascinato dalla sua forma data dagli elementi naturali, lo porto a casa. 
È domenica e le gustose lasagne di mia suocera rendono ancora più interessante la riunione di famiglia.
Il momento del riordino e del lavaggio dei piatti dopo il pranzo mi porta l'ispirazione.
La teglia monouso di alluminio di medie dimensioni, ancora lucida e modellabile, può assumere una nuova forma e una nuova vita. 
La sua lucentezza e duttilità la rendono perfetta per essere trasformata nel soggetto principale dell'arte del riciclo. 
Da teglia di alluminio, intagliata e lavorata a mano, nascono gli elementi metallici essenziali di una "scultura di luce". 
Per essere estratto e lavorato per produrre una sola lattina da 33 ml, un materiale nobile come l'alluminio inquina 38 metri cubi d'aria, consuma 18 litri d'acqua e distrugge 30 centimetri cubi di suolo del pianeta, non può essere ignorantemente gettato nella spazzatura.&#38;nbsp;
Ecco che due elementi così distanti, accomunati dal fatto di essere due materiali nobili e perfettamente lavorati uno dall'uomo e l'altro dalla natura, che sarebbero stati cestinati o dispersi nell'ambiente, si uniscono e prendono vita per una seconda volta, in un ruolo diverso: il lungo periodo di lock-down, ha dato spazio anche per fermarsi, pensare e osservare le cose da un altro punto di vista.

In collaborazione con l’Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti di Genova e QuartoArte
Luce Cinetica


Quando la Luce diventa Arte Terapia&#38;nbsp;
E' un progetto di Light Painting che, grazie a Quarto 
Pianeta, si è sviluppato all'interno degli spazi dell'ex ospedale 
Psichiatrico di Genova Quarto.

Nasce da scatti fotografici in lunga esposizione in collaborazione con i
 degenti/ospiti della struttura dell'ex ospedale psichiatico durante la 
seduta di danza terapia.
Gli scatti sono tutti in tecnica "Light Painting" eseguiti dal sottoscritto e dalle studentesse dell'Accademia Ligustica di Belle Arti di 
Genova.
In collaborazione con la docente di illuminotecnica Liliana Iadeluca grazie a Massimo Casiccia, Rossella Soro,&#38;nbsp; Mariapia Brisigotti e Barbara Cella di QuartoArte, abbiamo creato questo momento di condivisione e
 sperimentazione fotografica, mettendoci a disposizione gli spazi ad 
alto potenziale dell'ex ospedale psichiatrico.&#38;nbsp;

"Nell'atto di creazione di ciascun individuo
l'arte nutre l'anima, coinvolge le emozioni e libera lo spirito
e questo può incoraggiare le persone a fare qualcosa
semplicemente perché vogliono farlo.

L'arte può motivare tantissimo, poiché ci si riappropria,
materialmente e simbolicamente,
del diritto naturale di produrre un'impronta
che nessun altro potrebbe lasciare
ed attraverso la quale esprimiamo
la scintilla individuale della nostra umanità"

Tutti gli scatti sono realizzati in tecnica di lunga esposizione (Posa 
B) e non hanno subìto alcuna manipolazione digitale.&#38;nbsp;
