This is a light painting project that, thanks to Quarto Pianeta association, was developed within the areas of the Genoa Quarto Psychiatric Hospital.

It stems from long-exposure photographic shots in collaboration with inpatients/guests of the former psychiatric hospital facility during dance therapy sessions.

The shots are all in "Light Painting" technique performed by myself and students of the Ligustica Academy of Fine Arts in Genoa.

In collaboration with lighting teacher Liliana Iadeluca and thanks to Massimo Casiccia, Rossella Soro, Mariapia Brisigotti and Barbara Cella members of QuartoArte, we have created this occasion of photographic experimentation sharing, in the psychiatric hospital location.

"In the act of creation of each individual art nourishes the soul, engages the emotions and frees the spirit.

"This can encourage people to do something simply because they want to do it".

Art can motivate as much as we reclaim ourselves, materially and symbolically, of the natural right to produce an imprint that no one else could leave and through which we express the individual spark of our humanity."

All shots are taken using the long exposure technique (Pose B) and have not undergone any digital manipulation.
