The LED word is the acronym for Light Emitting Diode. It is an optoelectronic device
that exploits the ability of some semiconductor materials to produce photons through the
phenomenon of spontaneous emission.
According to the junction diode principle, this arises from the recombination of electron-hole pairs, characterized by the presence of two differently doped areas in the device to have the ability to have different charge carriers.
Today it is used more and more in our lives, replacing traditional light bulbs to optimize and reduce consumption.
They can be found in all types of shapes, colors, sizes, and powers.
Thanks to its easy use and reduced footprint over consumption, LED is the most commonly used luminous “brush” of us Light-painters.
